Makes me wonder what the t-bird looked like! I would have thought that the T-bird would be the one to sell.

Is that an electromatic clutch on this car?

It does have the Electromatic and from what I can see it appears complete -- although I can't tell if the actuation pulley is there or clutch cable termination clamp is still on the starter motor.

Interesting piece of testing equipment from the old days. Anybody using one of these?

"it was my dads dream car." Whoa! Maybe when it was seen new in a photograph, but this more of someone's nightmare, if you ask me. It doesn't look like there is enough there to even make a reasonable parts car, let alone restore-able. Chrysler engine? Chrome gold plated? What the hell was this guy thinking? $8000???

JD is absolutely correct -- it truly is sad. Imagine the day when the car's first owners took the keys to this 180. What a jewel it must have been. Imagine the neighbors looking out of their windows as this beautiful sedan (Sudan?) glided down the street. And now look at it. Pathetic.

I guess it would figure that anyone so ignorant as to replace one of Packard's finest engines with a Chrysler V-8 with cruise control can't spell worth a damn. And will anyone out there please tell me what an "interlinear" is? (I do have a pretty good idea)

You can make a lot of really neat things from the parts left over after you rebuild your engine ...
