All of this reminds me of a line from "Jose Jiminez" on the old Ed Sullivan show where "Jose" talked about "BHB" (Bery High Boltage).

Mal, are you trying to give Gerd some competition? Funny video, thanks.

Matt, please carry on without stopping to talk about bloody big hammers and showers of sparks. I hope the video will be a source of inspiration. <iframe width="425" height="349" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/fujo5fHSCzk" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

A great video Gerd - but only 140mph out of a streamliner?.. I'm not sure they were trying hard enough LOL. Braver men than me, that is for sure!

Matt, is the wheelbase of an "usual racing biposto" long? I may be wrong but the wheelbases of many cars in the video including the agonizingly slow streamliner look shortened.
Edit: Say no more! I already found the answer. Quote: ...For handling it has been decided to reduce the wheelbase to 120" - which gives us a 2:1 wheelbase to track width ratio - just nice and on par with the race and sports cars of the day...
