This vid may have been posted previously, but I've never seen it. Clark Gable (original owner) 1934 model 1104 Super 8 Coupe on youtube. Video is 13+ minutes long, but well worth it.

Pretty stunning. I did notice it's either a 1933 Super Eight engine or the 1934 water jacket side plate has been replaced and the oil cooler and full-flow filter removed. Also the spark plug wires should be silver/gray lacquered cloth and attach to the plugs with eyelets and knurled thumbscrews. Still, it would be great in my garage. The chromed hood vent doors were an option, though rarely seen.

The Bohmann & Schwartz Duesenberg was one of the more noteable ones - I have some photos from when it was out at Stone Barn getting refreshed for Pebble some years back; if anyone's interested in them I can try to find them.

Sounds like baloney to me. It has the wrong motor and the radiator shell is junk.

Yeah, I saw a piece of dust on there, and a fingerprint, too.

This was a very nice 34 Super Packard. Unfortunately it was word of mouth provenance which is hard to prove and also disprove. I never did notice the wrong engine or radiator shell.

That's Dave Charvet's voice who also wanders in on this forum occasionally. He does radio and TV ads for a local plumbing supply company. You have to take a double take when you see someone you know pitching toilets on TV. LOL

Does Dave own the car, and was the video made because the car is for sale?
