If Fred Perkins is still around, he was involved with Bryan Packard for many years and might know about the car. Believe someone mentioned they had heard he moved to Hawaii after the shop closed. Perhaps another avenue if someone has any current information.

Thanks Guscha. That appears to be the gentleman. My car came from Oceanside, CA. The previous owner was Dr. Irwin Gullet (who passed away in 1998).
I wonder if someone out there knows someone that worked in Mr. Bryan's shop that might recall my car. John Bryan would have been well into his 80's when the work (engine rebuild) was done.
