G'day Guscha,

This museum car has different tread patterns on it's front tyres. Here, and most likely in the US, cars displayed in Museums will have matching tyres unless there is a historical reason for not doing so. Saying that, the wavy tread pattern is interesting!

Thanks for that, wasn't meant as criticism just struck me as curious.

As to having the "eyes of an eagle", if that was the case I'd also have noticed first time round that the car doesn't have front bumper over-riders either!

Guscha: Seems like old Uncle Joe and the President of the United States had something in-common. They both liked to ride in Packard's.

In the photo below the person sitting up on the top edge of the backseat is the Great Harry Truman.

Guscha: The ZIS 101 and 102 were produced from 1936 till 1941. Total production came to 8752 units.

used on the ZIS 101.

Rear compartment clocks were rather standard in many of the expensive closed cars of the Classic era, and especially on those with a divider window. Usually they were mounted below the division window, not above but in a custom car anything was possible.
