Don, good luck with your new project, I look forward to hearing more about it and when you get a chance I'd love to have the theft-proof, vehicle, engine and Briggs numbers from it.
Just a guess but in your photo of the interior, I see a can of Rallye car wax and am betting it's not seen much use.

Hi Don
Congratulations on extricating one more fine Packard from its neglected purgatory. Looks to be largely complete and fairly solid, good luck in your restoration, keep of apprised of your progress. Steve P.S. The single fog-light has the name Lumidor Supreme on the top of the rim. Were they the typical supplier of those accessories?

Both lights are there. The mate of the mounted one was is in the trunk. I have never heard of that light company before however. There was several NOS parts there too. Like tailight assys and parking lights.

Hi Don, looks like you got quite a job ahead of you. Just remember before you take anything apart take lots of pictures (Thank goodness for digital cameras!), it will help in the long run when you look back and say did this bolt go up or down and how did this wire run under or over this bracket.
If you get a chance post some pictures of the engine compartment. We are always looking for untouched Packard's to see how wiring and hoses were run, or at least I am. Thanks! Wes
