I'm looking to get my 1937 115c interior reupholstered . I would like to do it right how would someone get the stock upholstery patterns ? Do you just go by pictures ? Does anyone know of a good upholstery shop in SF Bay area ? Please help me figure out the best way to get this done correctly . I had it done by a friends wife she did an alright job but I want it to be correct as possible . If you know of complete pictures or where to get the patterns please let me know

See the third post in this thread for an upholstery shop at Walnut Creek. I believe Walnut Creek isn't too far from where you are.

Thanks for the shop info will check it out .I work in Concord drive right by Walnut creek twice a day . I would think to do some research on material and patterns for my Car I have some Idea from tire down pictures but it was mostly all batting at that point really couldn't get a really good idea of color . Did 115c"s have leather option ? What did the panels really look like ? and floor covering ? I know I probably can't do exact material but who like it to be close. I guess I'm not looking in the right places on this site but really can't find really good pictures of entire interior for 115c . Who the guru of the Packard interior so I can get some points of direction as this will not be cheap and I don't want it to be . That being said I only going to do it one time .

Armand is the expert. If he doesn't have the material, you can get it from SMS, especially if you can send them a sample.

Be prepared to patient. Armand didn't have enough of the stock material, so I went with SMS for the original pattern. I'm still waiting.

Photos from Good Guys event at Alameda County Fair Grounds? Used to attend when I lived in Walnut Creek. I have a 115C convertible coupe, but the interior is different than the sedans. Leather was an option for the convertibles, but not, I think, for the sedans. Armand is your best bet to get an authentic interior. He is on North Main.

Thank You I will talk to him . Yes the show was in Pleasanton fairgrounds I got the award for Coolest Classic I was surprised . It was so hot that day ,I almost missed it because I was leaving and they caught me at the gate and turned me around .

Here are some photos of an original 115C interior.
The upholstery material is the barkweave cloth that is shown in the parts list and was used for most of the 115C production.
Floor covering in the front compartment is a rubber mat and the rear is carpeted. The hogshair material sold by Bill Hirsch is a good match for the rear carpet and the lower carpeted portion of the door panels.

Regarding the use of leather for closed car interiors, it is very unlikely that it would have been used for domestic production but seems to have been quite common for cars shipped to South Africa.

Hi Alfred,
For views of the 115c interior I'd recommend you download the 1937 "Of a Distinguished Family" sales brochure for the 120 and the 115, found in the literature section of this website. The brochure covers both models with depictions of the interiors in color. This will give you a good idea of the seat pleating location and so forth. I had this brochure when I owned a 120c and it went with the car when I sold it. It's also just a fun read when you've become "the man who owns one." Best of luck with your car, as you know it's a real eye-catcher.
