Any body have good pictures of running board antennas. I have a 36 120 conv/coupe, got the radio but need antennas. I think i will have to make them. Does not seem like a big deal but I want pictures of what they are suppose to look like. Any open car, any year, just so I can get close
Thanks again
Will

Thanks, saw that and it's good information, but I would like to see some examples of the real thing. I am sure someone out there has some mounted that they could take pic of. I am doing a conv/coupe but pics of any 30's running board antennas would be great.
Thanks again
Will

He has discontinued them. Had a friend saw them at Hersey, said he was not impressed. They is a guy that makes insulator so I just have to add the antennas should be pretty easy if I know what they look like. I pic of Fords, but I would like a Pic of the Packard's
Thanks again

I had quite the opposite opinion, a friend installed a set of Jerry's antennas and I thought the design and execution was very professional and an excellent match to what we know of the originals. Wish I would have taken photos!

Will,

I know I have photos of under running board antennae on 2 '39 120's here in Oz. Just have to find them among the thirty thousand plus Packard photos I have! Please give me a little time to come up with the goods!

Will,

Found some, see this link!
the memory isn't as good as it once was, the Packard is a '39 110 not a 120. The other Packard is definitely a '39 120 which I expect to see in about 2 weeks time, I'll try to remember to take some pic's then.

Owen, at this point I am not sure if my friend saw Jerry's or something else, but he stated that he could make them and they would look better. He is a ford guy and probably did not look to hard.
Oz, I would appreciate any pic I came find. My guess is I will take all the photos I can find and fabricate something that is in the spirit of what would have been done in 36
Thinking of a road trip to Ohio and Packard museums in July. Hope they will let me crawl around and take some pic
Thanks again for your attention
Will
