The 2-1/4 is the OD measurement.

I am not sure of the diameter but the older clothes washing machines used that type of clamp on their hoses.

I have found up to 2-1/8 easily. This one 2-1/4 has me stimied. Good suggestion on the appliance repair shops.

Here in Australia went to a hydraulic equipment repair place recently, they had 2&1/4" clamps but not in the style you want.
"I found one place that had a package of 150 for 177.00 dollars" Another thought on the package of 150, couldn't Patrician Industries put the excess into stock and offer as singles? ![]()

I wonder how rigid they were on style and when they went to the Corbin clamp style. I didn't find that part number listed in the utility section -- just the band clamp they used on I think it was the thermostat outlet.
The parts book shows the Corbin style and says the same clamp was used for 55-6 but a factory photo in the instruction book for the field AC install shows band clamps on all the locations.

Will 1/8" less in size be a problem? Seems like the 2-1/8 would still fit, just spread a bit more then normal. Idk.
