Rear Wheel Hub Nut Size

I just realized after taken the rear wheels off, and removing the cotter pin, that I do not have a impact socket or wrench large enough to fit the hub nut.
Does anyone know the exact size impact socket? I can't seam to locate it in the service manual. The size appears to be roughly 1.338" measured from flat side to flat side on my caliper, but my brain is failing to convert that to the appropriate socket size.

1.312 = 1-5/16. 1.375 = 1-3/8. Better emasure that agian. Be sure to read caliper as INside or outside if so equiped.
My guess is that u need a 1-3/8 socket unless some joker has replaced it with a metric.

How about a big-a$$ed crescent wrench? That's what I use.

Specs say yours is a 3/4 thread so I'd guess 1 3/8 also. I know the larger 7/8 axle nut takes 1 1/2.

Thanks guys. I am off to Harbor to see if they have it cheap. If not Sears is my next best bet. I know Napa has them, but their tools are pretty pricey.

Well Harbor had a 9 piece SAE impact set that went up to 1-1/12" for $25. So I just bought that. Sears wanted $29 for the single socket.
So I think I am back in business. The largest one I already had was 1-1/16.
