While visiting the 2018 Cleveland Auto-Rama (or whatever they now call it...) I came across a booth occupied by long-time engine builder Seme & Son. Interestingly, instead of showing a bunch of "tricked-out" Small block Chevies and 429 Fords, they had a Packard 359 on display. Identified as a supercharged 359, it's obviously not complete but to find engine builder advertising any Packard project in 2018 is noteworthy.

I've attached a few pictures to this thread for those who may want to see the motor or the custom stand on which it sits. Sorry the picture quality isn't the best.

As a disclaimer, all I know about this company is that they've been in Cleveland as long as I can remember. I've not done business with them personally so I cannot comment on quality of work. I only present the following contact information as a potential option for those seeking engine work in NE Ohio and who want to talk to a company that will at least know what a Packard motor looks like.

From their business card:
Seme and Son:Hot Rod and Resto Shop
1320 E. 260th St., Euclid, Ohio 44132

I wouldn't expect it runs since there's no head bolts on it?

Thinking, it's a work in progress. Supercharger isn't plumbed into the carb/intake system. Also has a block off plate for the fuel pump and no fuel lines, an adaptor plate for whatever trans will be fitted and a billet machined double V crank pulley for the supercharger and water pump. While the mounting plate for the supercharger looks like it might be aluminium(aluminum) with the water pump appearing to be mounted on the front of it. If that's the case, imagine there'd probably have to be some nifty machining for water pump clearances. Question, is the breather cap on the rear valve chamber cover a stock feature on 359's?

G'day Mal,
The road draft tube connects to the orifice there. The tube runs at an angle downwards and rearwards and vents under the right front floor.
