Welcome to Packard ownership! The 1956 Packard Executive was one of the nicest looking Packards of the era (in my opinion) and since you're new to it, here is a very small history.

The Executive was Packard's last new model which arrived late in 1956 production. It was based on, and replaced, the 1956 Clipper Custom which for 1956 was a separate make and was offered as both a 4-door sedan and a 2-door hardtop. It was rebadged as Packard with different side trim and the Packard grille and front fenders with hooded headlights. I'm not sure but I believe it also received a more upscale interior.

Thank you.

Main broblems with this car:

- Oil leaks all over the car
- Gears wont work as they should be
- Suspension in left front corner wont work
- Wires are bad condition
- Brakes wont work
- Exhaust leak
- Interior is in bad shape

Done so far:

- Brakes rebuilt / new lines as well
- Upper control arm new bushes
- Main oil leaks fixed
- Rebuilt carb
- New coil
- New water hoses
- Rebuilt Heater box
- Gear adjustment / gears work still poorly

- Registration

A test drive was driven 100 miles and the following observations were made:

- Gears neen alot of work
- The suspension does not work as it should and the car is dangerous to drive

+ Engine works great
+ Steering feels stiff
+ The car looks great

You have been busy. You should order a new reproduction wiring harness, your wiring has been butchered up. We put a new harness in my 1956 and it went very well.

I am going to replace all wires but im making new wiring harness myself.

There was new headliner in the trunk when i bought the car but all headliner mounts were broken. The new parts are with 3D printer. I also add small rubber bushes.

Nice work on the 3D prints. Never thought of using that technology for this application, but it looks nice.

I have to be creative because part orders from US is very expensive.
------------------------------------------------------------
I have a problem with suspension. front left corner is resting lower than other corners. it sit it's lowest position. There is no broken parts that i can see.

Ive found this link ->1956packardpanther.com/Panther/adjLinks.html

Is there another way to fix torsion level suspension?
