Oil Pump Assessment

I am trying to determine if I should replace my oil pump. I took some readings and made a chart.
A few notes:
The service manual (page 52) calls for 40 lbs in "normal" driving.
The owners manual calls for 30W oil.
I am running a modern multi viscosity oil--10W-30W.
Readings are slightly under but it appears I do not to replace my oil pump.
Any observations or opinions??

If the motor is newly rebuilt a new/rebuilt oil pump is obligatory as is a new radiator. But that is for modern cars where parts come off the shelf. If the motor has mileage better to save a new oil pump until you need a motor job.

That doesn't work for a lot of that old stuff. I did a couple of engines when there were people machining new parts for Packard oil pumps and the results were extremely good. Now if only they had new old stock crankshafts, carburetors, and engine blocks.

I had hoped with 3D industrial printing we would be able to get all those parts. But that little miracle has not trickled down to us yet.
Although my vent window glass was made by cnc. I guess that's something.

If you rebuild your oil pump Max or Kanters may have new gears. When my '41 120 was rebuilt(I know, not the same engine) I got new gears from Kanters at the time, 2009, so awhile ago.

Drain that oil. 10W30 is fine for these new sewing machines but poison for prehistoric engines with greater bearing clearance. It needs 20W50. You will find improved oil pressure immediately.
Also you might want to use 20W50 suitable for Diesels, it keeps the insides of the engine from gunging up.

Increasing viscosity, will just consume more power, ie, higher pressure for the same flow means harder to pump.
If the flow is good, then no need to worry. If it's not pumping volume then needs work.
10-30 is just thinner at the lower measured temperature. Still the same 30 at temperature.
I guess you need to decide why you're worried about this, is it making noise or some other issue, liek getting hot, or just curious.
