1947 Gray Super Clipper. Looks to be in decent condition. This car was for sale on the FL panhandle not two months ago for $9500, more or less. The ad came down in a week. A couple of weeks later, it came back on the market somewhere near Lakeland FL for $14500. It was posted yesterday in Lynchburg VA for $16750. The guy's description is lame. He might as well just type in, "look, I don't know $#!t about this car and I'm just trying to make a fast buck."

If you're not having fun, maybe it's your own damned fault.

That behavior seems all too commonplace these days - making something out of nothing. The sad part is that so many people take such seriously. I knew one guy who would claim he paid way more for a car than he actually did and then cry that he was selling at a loss. His background was in used cars. An excellent resume builder for today's political races.

55 400 CHOP TOP LOWRIDER... I actually think it looks pretty good but it's hard to tell with all the garage pics... too close to the car. Wonder how they modded the suspension when it had TL.

It wouldn't take that much to make that car a presentable original, but I think the Brewster body looks better on the Buick chassis. However, given they keep talking about destroying Social Security and Medicare that extra money is staying in liquid assets.

I would not worry about the Medicare and social security issues. They are sacred cows for both sides! They're smart enough to know that social security problems will disappear as we baby boomers disappear!

You would figure that for $1200 he might spring for shipping.

I have noticed on the Edmonds heads that the spark plug has been placed over the piston instead of over the exhaust valve like on the Packard heads. A more centralized location for better spark travel?
