This photo is also under 1934, but seems appropriate to add here. It's an 1101. What I wouldn't give for those headlight lenses!

Gerd, That's not laurel it's POISON IVY! and Mr Clean might disturb the hornets living in the wheelwell. Needless to say I usually remove parts from the car in January. Sad to relate but the poplar tree in the background fell across the car last year crushing the trunk and the rear part of the roof.

"The design patent for The Packard Goddess of Speed automobile hood ornament. The ornament was designed and filed by John D. Wilson of Grosse Point, Michigan, in 1938 and assigned to the Packard Motor Car Company of Detroit. The patent was issued in 1939." I would like to move it to the photo archive.
