There is a training manual on the prewar Electromatic Clutch in the literature archive. That is probably as detailed a book as you will find. You might also read thru some of the prewar service articles on the Electromatic as those were written to detail some recommended adjustment changes or explanations of operation and service as more experience in real world driving was obtained.
There is a vast difference in the pre and post war units with the prewar version being quite complicated as compared to the much simplified and refined postwar version. If you are interested in comparing the two the postwar version is also covered in a training manual entitled Clutch and Electromatic Clutch
