Hi David! I went down this rabbit hole last night for my '50, too. The Wagner Lockheed FE-1108 that was in our cars doesn't appear to have a modern cross-reference. It appears that if you're not going to get yours rebuilt or sleeved (as other threads have suggested), you CAN get a new reproduction master cylinder from the eBay seller "Old Parts Source." Here is the listing:ebay.com/itm/142988904504?mkcid=16&mkevt ... &var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

I've bought numerous things from this seller (my new repro water pump, all four sets of brake shoes, and I have a NOS blower motor switch on order), always very pleased. Planning to replace my MC with this repro unit in Feb. Good luck!

I bought a Chinese repop from Kanter back and wheel cylinders when I was resurrecting the '49. It fit and functioned OK, the lid gasket was not of the right material and seeped fluid. I just cleaned up the logo Wagner rubbers and put on the chinese cylinders - no markings.
I was going to resleeve, but it would've been a time issue, badly eaten so may have not been a good core anyway.
Usually, these repro parts are made by one source and shopped around by various vendors, so caveat emptor on prices.

I don't know what NAPA has for a '47. They do have parts that can be used for 51-56. I have wheel cylinders, hoses, and brake lines from them on my Panama, as well as other parts. Are the wheel cylinders as good as what Packard made? Maybe, maybe not. So far not an issue for me.

But Mike (su8overdrive) has listed some fantastic resources for parts, not just for your brakes. I highly recommend checking with them as well.
