Love the coupe body on the '41 160. That would make a very fun project. But the interior is a mess....dash, steering wheel, seats, everything. Not cheap to restore and not easy. I think they have the price a little high for what the car is right now.

The '51 200 is excellent for that price. Beautiful color and nice chrome. Putting in a headliner is tough but doable. Or just hand it to an upholstery place and let them do it.

1940s dash plastic scares me, probably more than bad chrome!

Couple of new FM Marketplace postings for your consideration:

1954 Clipper Deluxe Sedan: Looks like a very nice car. Don't see much, if anything wrong with this one. Attractive grey color (Mackinaw Grey, Scheme "F") with wide whites and Ultramatic. Interior looks original and is in good condition. Asking $15K. Vermont:

facebook.com/marketplace/item/1049361923 ... 93e2e77-1e6d-4da5-9107-a1bede890e7e

1948 Deluxe Eight Sedan. Also looks like a nice car. Good paint and chrome. Interior looks original and in good condition, but front door panels have been redone incorrectly. Only major issue I see in the photos. Ad states 43K original miles. Car has been for sale for some time. Asking $11,500. Virginia:

facebook.com/marketplace/item/6999150089 ... 93e2e77-1e6d-4da5-9107-a1bede890e7e

1958 Sedan. Very nice example of a last year Packard. Looks great in the photos and does not appear to need anything. Ad states 75K original miles and that car has been restored. Whitewall tires look new. Asking $10,500. Maine:

facebook.com/marketplace/item/3618231434 ... 93e2e77-1e6d-4da5-9107-a1bede890e7e

1949 (23rd series) Sedan. Appears to be a Standard Eight. Exceptional original car with a beautiful interior. Very clean. Ad states 30K original miles and certainly looks it. Think this one is a strong buy at the asking price of just $12K. Virginia:

1928 convertible coupe. Very optimistic price for the current condition. The (deceased) owner had it since 1967, his widow is trying to sell now.

It’s a rare Derham “conversion” with the padded top, smaller rear window and special interior. Some of these also had a privacy partition even though they were on the standard wheelbase.

Couple of recent FB Marketplace postings:

Two 1956 Patricians. Rough cars, both long term indoor storage. Possibly restorable. The black one looks better than the white over turquoise one, but it is partially buried under a pile of junk. Being sold as part of an estate with other collector cars. See a 1970's Eldorado Biarritz in the background in one photo. Ad claims that one of the cars is a factory prototype of some kind. Both have the pushbutton Ultramatic. Package deal, seller is asking $2,500 for both cars, which sounds reasonable. Pittsburgh, PA:

facebook.com/marketplace/item/1277182246 ... b939b99-1979-48a0-943b-a4450b2dcc76

1953 Clipper Deluxe sedan. Decent looking original car. Ad states 17K original miles. Car has not run since 2007. Has rechromed front bumper and a bunch of extra hubcaps. Seller asking $10K and claims car was professionally appraised for $18,500 in 2003. Virginia:

facebook.com/marketplace/item/1020539296 ... b939b99-1979-48a0-943b-a4450b2dcc76

1955 Patrician. Solid original car, nice interior but paint is somewhat faded. Runs and drives. Car was used in a movie with Leonardo DiCaprio and seller has an autographed photo from him showing the car in a street scene. Not sure which film this is. Asking $8K. Yonkers, NY:

facebook.com/marketplace/item/5424350383 ... b939b99-1979-48a0-943b-a4450b2dcc76

1952 Patrician. Looks decent but a little ragged and needs general cosmetics. Not currently running, seller thinks it may need a starter. Asking $4K. Indiana:

facebook.com/marketplace/item/1071928477 ... be1ae55-ae20-4c4a-b1a4-8f69a07e4066

1954 Convertible. Not a Caribbean, it's the other convertible. Needs full restoration, but an exceptionally solid and straight body with no visible rust in the lower rear quarter and rocker panel sections which is usually totally gone on these cars. Looks like a worthy project, especially as it has the three speed stick shift with OD instead of the Ultramatic. Someone here should grab this one. Asking $12,500. Alabama:

facebook.com/marketplace/item/1013719693 ... be1ae55-ae20-4c4a-b1a4-8f69a07e4066

1955 Caribbean. Nice older restoration. Ad states trans has been rebuilt by Aldrich Restoration Specialists. Seats have been redone in vinyl and top looks like it should be replaced. Was formerly owned by Dan Kanter. 64K original miles. Asking $42,500. Indiana:

facebook.com/marketplace/item/8483057072 ... be1ae55-ae20-4c4a-b1a4-8f69a07e4066

1954 Cavalier. Looks very sharp in solid black but hard to evaluate condition from only one posted photo. Ad states car runs and drives and has only 69K original. Asking $8,500. Birmingham, Alabama:

facebook.com/marketplace/item/4341803997 ... be1ae55-ae20-4c4a-b1a4-8f69a07e4066

1946 or 1947 Clipper Deluxe Sedan. Very badly rusted parts car. May yield some useable components but is one of the worst cars I have even seen advertised on FB. Seller asking an ambitious $1,600. Tennessee:

Pgh Ultramatic

That 56 car is certainly NOT a prototype. I have a LOT of pictures of the modifications on that one. Some pretty wild stuff but almost 100% aesthetic mods.

And yeah about 3 grand for that pair is right. The green one runs but got sideswiped on the passenger side.

The 54 convertible from Alabama has a front clip that doesn't match the rest of the car. Wonder if it was in an accident at some point. It doesn't appear to have a windshield. They don't say whether all the trim is included.
Price is high considering that everything on this car needs to be redone.
