How do I install the fender skirts on my 1941 160 convertible coupe? They overlap the fender and I can't tell how to secure them.
Any guidance?

It depends if they are original or aftermarket. Sometimes, a receiver/latch had to be installed/welded on the inside of the fender flange.

i would spot weld a L shaped piece of medal on the fender skirt that would slide up behind the fender lip, but then u would have to repaint the skirt,
if the fender skirts are fiberglass ,u can fiberglass a L shaped piece of medal to slide up behind the fender lip, wont have to repaint the shirt
either type of skirt is going to wear the paint off the fender in time
