"Glory glory Man United..." And you're all welcome on the updated eBay link. Maybe Kev will make this a sticky so it can be accessed by new people easier.

If you're having trouble finding a dealer who will Slash the price of your next Packard, here's the place to go:
cargurus.com/Cars/quote/quotepopunderste ... ayContent=false&selectedEntity=m176 Just ask the cargurus. They've obviously got connections beyond space and time...

Stickies have their place, but I've seen some sites where they overrun the entire first page of a forum listing.
Instead, perhaps Eric should compose a post for the site's FAQ Forum - consisting of a brief intro to the problem, followed by the link for the search. As author of that FAQ, Eric could go back and edit/ update that link, as needed. It might better qualify as one of the few stickies there. While the term "turd" is fine by me in casual conversation, it should be left out of the FAQ title and text. That's just my opinion, but I'm sure that BigKev would agree at least as much. I don't know of a catchy cyber-term for such perps, but something like "Eliminating Bogus Sellers from eBay Packard Searches" as a subject/title for the FAQ topic might get the message across.

Are you saying that you want to "polish" Eric's turd topic?
Or better yet you want to clean up the post with Eric's de-turd-gent!

Yeesh, those puns are so bad that they're good!
Meanwhile, I'm thinking it was Will Darnell, in "Christine", who first said "you can't polish a turd". The car later killed him.

There was a episode of Mythbusters about a year ago where they tested the idiom that you can't polish a turd. They were able to using no polishes or waxes (but it was pretty involved), and busted that myth.
