What a great example of a "preserved" car! The very best of luck with it.

Nice looking Clipper. They are where you find them. Torsion-Level or coil and leaf springs?

Welcome Randerson!
Beautiful car! Don't let anybody bug you about driving something different. I bought my first Packard when I was 18 too, when the car was 20. Everybody wanted hot V-8 engines in the latest cars back then too. Everybody thought I was strange. But you will get the last laugh! Ken

LOL! - I'm not the lovely young lady, alburton, who has the almost identical 56 Deluxe pictured on the other thread... I'm an old fart, 60 this year, and remember Clippers from new...our neighbor had a new white and blue '55!!
It does have Torsion Level, but not much else! Has radio & heater and PS, and that's about it - dog dish caps, no skirts, no Ultramatic. And Mal - I will be sending you the info... before you ask, LOL... it's probably sleepy time in Oz now. I think this is a quite late car, maybe the last couple of weeks, the production # is 5580, I don't see a Deluxe with a higher # in the registry.

Great find of an original car, enjoy it.

Congrats! Neat car and love the standard shift. Funny thing is, this is one of about 3 55 Clippers in that color combo on here right now. The more the merrier!
Enjoy, Jim
