Replying to a question at the beginning of this thread is a photo of one of the hood panel support brackets on my 115C. They were on the car when I bought it, but were rather flimsy. I added a brace and cemented some rubber where the panel corner rests. One of the vendors was selling these a few years ago. I do not know if they are available at this time. I would be easy to make up a set. They work well.

Kanter Auto Partskanter.com/ and Max Merrittmaxmerrittauto.com/ both have fuel pump kits. I would suggest calling and see if you can get just the diaphragm. I call and sometimes they have parts that are not on the website or the catalog.

Thank you for the Max Merrit info. After finding some literature on replacing the diaphrams I decided to go with a rebuilt pump from Tucson Packard. They seem to have about the best warranty.
Thanks again Jim

Iam getting a few different ideas on hood holders now that I see some. Hopefully I will be able to see an original somewhere for even more info and do a little more research. Your brackets appear to be a good practical and sturdy solution.
Thanks

Seems to me I remember a hood panel support bracket that was installed on the radiator bracing rod. If I recall correctly it was attached to both rods. I think with a little imagination some could be fabricated.
