Website 5 Year Anniversary

Well based on the first post here on the forums.... Today marks the 5 year Anniversary for PackardInfo.com.

Thanks to everyone that has contributed to where it is today!

Sincere congratulations on such a milestone. Only a well run, well moderated website with significant contributors would have survived in such a niche market. There are several "dead websites" proving the opposite.

Kev, My goodness! The older I get the faster time seems to go. This site has been a source of so much information and enjoyment for me I can't thank you enough for bringing us all together. I hope that it will continue to grow and thrive and remain the primary meeting place for Packard enthusiasts around the world. I am grateful to all who contribute freely of their knowledge and expertise (you know who you are)and to all those who pose the questions.

On the occasion of birthday celebrations for family and friends I write a haiku in the card as a greeting.

Packards are long gone.

Helpful people day and night.

Candles all ablaze.

Congratulations on five years and thanks to everyone who has contributed or posted here. I have enjoyed my time here immensely.

Upon further reflection I also know who to blame for me buying my car last summer.
