i know exactly what you are talking about...passenger's side.
when i get that part all cleaned up i'll get it to you. i do remember taking that apart and it look decent to use again. i just gotta find that other valve cover mounted spark plug wire holder...hmmmmm. Hank

I apologize for the interruption but I just happened to already have photos (assembled and diassembled) of the vacuum check valve. Attaches to an elbow on the right side of the engine block just above the oil pan, and then a steel tube up the back of the engine near the cowl which then uses a short piece of rubber tubing to connect it to the vacuum junction block on the cowl.

got the rest of my engine parts primed up. the trans was still drying.

just for conversation....can anyone remind me what this grounding strap hooks to on the firewall? is it factory and do i need it? also after looking at my pics i noticed what appeared to be a heater hose holder on the front of the motor, but it wasn't being used....is this factory or added? i also see that i should have both my spark plug holders that go on the valve covers....but i still can't find one of them. thanks.
