1949 23rd Series Sun Visor

Hello again, everybody! I haven't been on here lately, but I have made a lot of progress on the car. Right now I'm looking for a period correct exterior sun visor for my car. I beleive that the 1941-1950 cars used the same visor, so there is a large variety out there. I would like to know if anyone has one for sale, knows of one that I could get my hands on, or if anyone knows of a company that makes perfect reproductions. I would prefer one that has little or no paint so I can paint it with the car, but I can always remove the paint. Thanks a lot!

I saw your post for a sun visor. I have a nice used Fulton and a nice used Greenfield. Your choice $200.00 if interested. Thanks

Jr: I believe, but I'm not totally sure, that the visor on my car was an original factory or dealer accessory. I don't have a clip in the middle of the windshield to hold the radio antenna in place, and I have heard that cars supplies without the clip had original sun visors. (take a look at my car in the the owner registry.) The only marking on mine say "CASCO" which I think was a Packard supplier.

on the aftermarket ones, the hinges are visible from the side. The factory visor curves and fastens to the drip rail

So because I'm looking for a factory visor, I need one that attaches to the drip rails. Could you please post a picture of what I should be looking to purchase? I need to know exactly what the factory visor looks like. Thanks.

Based on the drip rail description, the one in this mystery parts question looks like it might be factory. Hopefully it was saved.packardinfo.com/xoops/html/modules/newbb ... ic.php?post_id=87095#forumpost87095

Sorry it took so long to get the pictures. Pictures 1 - 4 are the Fulton visor and pictures 5 - 8 are the Greenfield visor. Both are straight and dent free but need painted. Asking $200 each. Thanks for your interest.
