Hi All

I have a 1929 626 with original footrest brackets. Will check in parts book and see if they are the same as the 633. If so I would be willing to help with reproducing them.

Ed

ps From the Packard Service Parts List

Foot rest assembly for model 333 is 139030 (mine)
Foot rest assembly for model 344/345 and 374/375 is 147949 (yours)
If you could find one of these other models you should have a match to buy/copy

Hi again,

Sorry to hear about Jere. I found his website, but haven't gotten a response to my query. I just put up two photos of my footrests on the original post.

Those footrests are different to the ones I found for my 633, maybe I have the wrong ones. What model is your 1929?
Getting back to you original question , some simple repairs and they will make good patterns for brass castings, the slight shrinkage will not matter and the new ones will not break like the old pot metal ones.

Hi David,

Mine is the seven passenger 645 Sedan. I tried to download some pictures to the owner registry, but I cant figure out how to do so. I will get it solved though...It can't be as hard as finding footrest brackets!

Usually picture problems are related to the size and/or type of file trying to be added. This Photo Post Guide Lines FAQ of BigKev's may help. If not, please email me at ozstatman@gmail.com and I'll do what I can to assist.

...actually the problem was me, not looking in the right place to load pics. I will get some up later this weekend, but thanks for the concern.

Thanks for the information, but I sent mine off on Friday to have brass casts made. I will post the final pics on the website once the final product is back safely in hand.
