If you guy's would have paid attention in school, you'd have no need for a spell checker!

Very true! I did pay attention but am now at the point I prefer to believe that there's only a finite number of brain cells available.

It's a condition that like junk (or Packard parts), the more facts you collect, the less room there is to clutter up with inconsequential things -- so with the invent of spell checker, some of the least important items are now free to drop out.

Assuming the fortune tellers are wrong, in another thirty years or so, you may agree. I figure by now, I'm down to only a dozen or so active cells at any one time.

And the red line underneath the misspelled words is more visible. Voila, as they say in Brooklyn.

Interesting, the spell checker in the edit post must have been broken since I first added the spell check over 2 years ago, as it there was a missing section of Java script in the edit function. It has now been fixed.

Thanks for catching that!

Kev,

Yes it now works, BUT!

It still doesn't give me anything but American spelling of English, unfortunately I'm used to the English spelling of English.
And it doesn't do anything at all about terminology differences! I'm sure these things are even harder for our non-english speaking friends also. But I'd rather be suffering those little differences than not have Packardinfo.com at all. What a great site.
