I am going to visit a locksmith in the next few days to discuss the locks. I will do that before purchasing anything.

I am not impressed with the carpet that I received. I got it about a month ago but just took it out of the box yesterday. I don't know why the front portion is cut at an angle, down the sides, as you can see in the picture. I guess I am going to have to cut that excess off to make it work correctly.

Can the carpet be laid flat and stretched any? If not, with that angle they did at the kickpanel areas I would wonder if that bare inch or so of floor where the wires exit will be covered by the panel or carpet.

It will fit better if you push it much further forward; that will fill in the gaps next to the A pillars and get the rear of the carpet up onto the hump narrowing the taper.

Ah yes, I didn't notice that. Here's some reference pictures, Stewart. Note the heel pad location respective to the accelerator bracket.

Ross is correct about moving the carpet forward. The rear notch which you have against the rear footrest in the picture should be against the front of the front seat frame.

When installed in the correct position, there is a decent-sized rectangle area under the seat that has no carpet. But the seat hides it.

I see what you guys are saying. I will move it forward this weekend but this carpet is not going to cover all the area as the original carpet pictured above.

I purchased it online from StockInteriors.com. The cost was about $430.

I received a pair of tires this week. I'll order another pair soon, gotta watch my budget.

The locksmith called today and said all my locks are ready. It will be a few days before I can get up there to get them. I had forgotten that a couple of years ago I bought a glove box lock and key on eBay. So, I have a pair of keys but the doors and trunk need to be changed to match.

Question, how much power do the power seats require? I wired them up over the weekend and ran it through the original relays as it was designed but it overheated the motors real quick.
