Thanks for the heads up John. What a beautiful automobile with a great family history. I have dreamed of owning a 1937 Twelve for 30 years now. This car is at the very top of the list.

Interesting to note the front door handle placement. I would have thought it was a '36. But then you look at the bumpers and it says '37.

I believe it is a factory-build with a 36 body on a 37 chassis. One of a kind.

The owner was very generous in sharing the car with us at Warren last summer. As nice as the pictures are , they cannot do justice.

What a terrific car, and a terrific site.

Someday, after I get my 12 repainted back to its original color, I should do something like that. My '35 12 has been in the family since 1942, when it was bought by my grandfather from what we believe was the original owner. The earliest picture we have of the family with the car was 1951, and then again around 1970 and then a bunch of pictures from the late 1970s. Maybe someday I'll write up something about the car for the Cormorant.
