I belong to the lincoln club and they had a book of authenticty for the car I had.I was wondering if there was a book for a 29 Packard 626 convertible coupe. Also I was wondering if the exhaust manifold should be porcelin coated or painted is there anyone who could recomend anyone to do this if it needs porcelin coating thanks Tom

Not cheap but nice and durable. Go for the ceramic coated insides.

Tom,

Others here have mentioned the Packards International Judging Guide as being a good source of information in respect to authenticity. Maybe someone here who knows whether that guide is applicable for your '29 626 and it's availability could advise?

The PI Judging Guide is pretty weak on details in that it doesn't cover much of the car yet. The first draft came out quite a few years ago covering Motor and Wheels but it doesn't look like any further progress has been made.
