Anyone have current pictures of this body style?

I've never seen one at a show.

Dear 32:

I don't think any of them survived. The only one from that series I've seen was the so-called "sport sedan" model.

To me the Ninth Series Individual Custom 8 catalogue was the zenith, and after that everything else was an oncore.

However, Bill Lester did have a mint original 10th series V-12 with that body. It used to be pictured in Turnquist's book but was removed so Bob could put in a picture of a friend's car instead.

Dear Tim,

Thanks, a shame if none survived. I did find a few pictures of the Sport Sedan.

It looks like the roof line tapers down faster, or the windshield is lower than on the Sedan?

Regards,

Dave

Hi

I love the Sport Sedan, though it seems more of a club sedan with more verve than the regular production design.

For a sport sedan design that fits the description better, check out the pictures of the '32 904 Sport Sedan by Waterhouse that Owen posted.

If you check my prior posting, you'll see my ideas of the configuration, more coming!

Steve

Per the OP's original question, Jack Nethercutt collection has one. It's a 1930 model on a 745 chassis. The Nethercutt collection also owns the 1931 Deluxe Eight that Dave mentioned.

Just loaded up some pic's of the '30 into the Photo Archive and had loaded some of the '31 last week. This follows from my visit to the Nethercutt last month. Slowly adding most of the Packard pictures taken on my US trip to the Archive.
