I have fitted a remote Chrysler product spin on filter to my 38 Super and it works well. i shall get a few snaps of it over the weekend and post on info.com. It fits well, looks swell, and is very easy to service. Best Regards, Peter Toet.

If you have the $ and desire for an authentic appearance, a outwardly-appearing replica of the original Purolator L-8 filter is available (R&A Engineering) which uses modern spin-on cartridges inside. That would mount in the original location where the rigid lines are located.

Dave is of course correct, the aluminium housed spin on filter fits exactly where the original filter was. It is well worth the money.
