A very special Packard with a very special VIN. Dave (O_D), thanks for the helpful explanations.
Here comes the next. It was -> Tom Laferriere, who took the pictures and collected the full set of numbers of this 1933 Packard Eight Convertible Victoria. Vehicle No. 627-33 Chassis No. 371726 Thief-Proof No. 174376 Motor No. 372534 Body No. 3050-6246 Attach file: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

For some reason a lot of lost title cars end up being palmed off as sold by Earl C. Anthony. As if that is more impressive than Packard Motor Car Company New York, N.Y. (1861 Broadway). Sometimes I think Packard history is being supervised by Fox "News".

Looks like a 3 to me 👀
Due to the firewall shape on the 37 juniors they couldn't fit the triangles on so they just... left them off

'55 400. Needs aesthetic parts put back on, and electrical system sorted.

Partially correct, the end brackets or triangles were also omitted on the 1935 and 1936 juniors though there was sufficient room for them. Packard's reason for omitting them is unknown to me.

Do you mean this one? Packard factory blueprint, available from the archived files at the Proving Grounds.

Yes, thanks. Is any of that online or do you have to go there and ask to look?

I can't speak for Dave's source but I get factory blueprints from the Studebaker Archives and there is a fee for searching for and printing/mailing them. They do not send electronically although they did once for me during the lockdown.
