The tail light goes to the 1956 Clipper Super that you’re parting out and I believe will also fit 1957. It does not fit any 1956 Packard which was a separate make from Clipper for that year.

The one you have pictured is 56 Clipper as it has rubber on bottom face, No real difference that can be seen when on car casting number is different, 56 have holes in bottom for rivets that hold on rubber gasket not used on 57 58 clipper see photo and two holes that have phillips screws to fender in addition to studs on back side

This one came from a different place from where I got the 56 clipper. Wasn't sure if it fit 56?
They are a beautiful tailight.!!!!! I priced it to sell! Better off on someone's car than sitting in my backyard. Sale pending!
