A Sad Day

Tuesday, October 12, 2021 was a sad day at our house. We sold our '51 200 Deluxe Packard. It went to a couple who live in North Hollywood, which is about 20 miles east of us. On a good note we'll be looking for a '55 or '56 Packard to fill the it's spot at the house. I'll probably put my 1970 Corvette (which I've had for 30 years) up for sale.

FYI - I used FaceBook Marketplace and had over 35 inquires about the '51 over a 3 week period.

Sad day, but for updating the entry for your '51 200 Deluxe Touring Sedan in the Packard Vehicle Registry by marking it as "Sold".

Gentlemen, I feel sure I can offer some advice that might come in useful one day.
If, regarding your favorite car that you have owned for decades, poured many hours of work into, love driving; if your better half ever says "Either that car goes, or I go." then shake her hand, offer to help her pack her suitcase, and make sure she has enough money for the taxi fare. It is the least you can do. I know I am being sentimental, but I hope this helps.
