Don't quote me on this, but I'm pretty sure Packard did not use wood in the 1956 bodies. So I'd say the wood is probably not for the car.

'55 400. Needs aesthetic parts put back on, and electrical system sorted.
'55 Clipper Deluxe. Engine is stuck-ish.
