Question for those that have removed the front windshield and back window……..how did you store it?
Standing upright or laying flat, supported in a couple places

I stored both front and rear lying flat. but be careful, I leaned on the rear glass accidently trying to get something and snapped it in half!

I'd wrap it in a moving blanket, tape it closed and store upright if possible.

Standing upright. Either that or lie it flat, upside down (so the middle is resting on the ground).

Put a blanket or two under it and make sure it is actually out of the way of things.

Mine is not wrapped. It is on a very high shelf and out of the way of Periodic Feline Inspections. Fred will have to make do looking at it. I have a couple of substantial things in front of it so it cannot tip forward and fall off said very high shelf.

Wat has some very serious very high shelving.

If you're not having fun, maybe it's your own damned fault.

Storing upright is best because that is the direction the glass will have the most strength. Laying down can allow the glass to flex if bumped, and that will crack it. Glass is shipped on end for a reason.

My spare windshield is stored high up in an original box, which holds the glass in an upright position. Carboard cutouts support it in two places in the center, and also on the ends.
