Found a gem!

I was cleaning out a box from the trunk that had collected over the many years as the car passed through my family and came across the original rear name plate. Its is now back in the intended spot! The smaller things in life that bring a smile to one's face.

Fantastic!
...and other than the hub caps, the only external brand name on the car! At least on my 37. Of course there is the name on the engine's head and the VIN plate, but they really used the grill shell as their trademark.

My '37 120 lacks any external badging other than the small bumper plate and the hubcap lettering.

On my 37 I always wondered who would have drilled those holes in the bumper. Now I know what should be in there and will be looking for one.

IIRC on the bathtub Customs, it doesn't say "Packard" anywhere. On the outside. There is the horn button inside.

But it's been a lotta decades since I had my arse in one of those.

If you're not having fun, maybe it's your own damned fault.
