I’m putting a ford 8.8 rear end in. The back drum fell off when we took the wheel off. I’ve been having several…. Issues with the rear end for awhile. As for the springs - all of them are broken except the main spring.

Oh oh, I think your car is rejecting the rear-end transplant. It's probably best to put a Packard rear-end back in before it's too late!

That is still the factory rear end lol

I've got a decent pair out of a 53 Clipper; slightly firmer spec than the originals which I have always found a bit woozy. $200 the pair but the shipping from MD to IN is going to be spendy.

Let me know if you’re able to get a close estimate on shipping to 47303, thanks!

Post #13, $200 the pair, so $335 w/ shipping.

Another alternative would be Air-Lift springs. I have used them on 3 different chevy trucks and they work great. I will consider that on mine at some point.

G'day 49-22 Club 2 door,
to PackardInfo.

I invite you to include your '48 Club Sedan(I presume that is your Packard from the "handle" you're using) in PackardInfo's Packard Vehicle Registry.

And, sorry LSX_Packard for going

I bought some Monroe MA705 (they’re a little shorter than factory, but they’re air shocks) On my 51
