Window leather washer thickness?

The leather washer 425038 was used on everything 1951 onward for the windows. Does anyone know how thick they were, and whether it was hard or soft leather?

The steel washer 380104 dimensions are given in the parts book.

Edit: I found a photo of the washer and also the 376038 hairpin clip. I will have to see if these are still on my 400.

I used these on my 37, I had to enlarge the center hole. You have to soak them before using.

Not to sound dumb as that era is my specialty but what are these? I don't recall ever seeing them on any of my Packards from 1951 through 1954.

They were used where the window regulator attaches to the track on the bottom of the window glass.

My '54 still has them, and Rusty may still as well. I didn't take them off but I don't think it's that hard. What would be the problem if they were gone?

Size is 7/16 x 7/8 x 1/8. What Kevin posted earlier is correct, if the inner hole is simply enlarged. (OD is unimportant.)

Note that the steel washer 380104 is extra thin (3/64") so if replacing, the leather may need to be sanded slightly to make the clip easier to install.
