Not sure what info you are looking for either but here is some more. 1950 is considered a 23rd series which started in mid 1949. Your body tag will have 4 numbers separated by a dash and then some more numbers. That will be the type and sequence number in production.

Engine number is stamped on drivers side in a smoothed area just below head -- varies by engine but will be somewhere from distributor to rear of engine. It will tell you the type engine and if original (in case it has been changed thru the years).

If the info you are looking for is not here, then post the numbers and questions. Many will be able to tell you just about anything you wish to know about the car.

The chart shown is taken from the parts manual. After the year, first column is body type number which will be the 4 numbers on the plate before the dash, second column is chassis type, and third is engine starting number.

The link to engine numbers chart will give the known range of numbers installed in a model and give an idea of where yours falls in production cycle.
