Many thanks to friends! From Minnesnoda Mike D. (he supplied the wheel)to Bill R. (the painter) in Tucson, my 400's new steering wheel looks awesome and brand new! I spent seven hours today over at Bill's helping him paint (basecoat/clearcoat) this wheel. The wheel is now so pretty, I may have to eventually wear gloves while driving the car down the road!

Mikey D.

HE DA MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

None of my cars would be up and running without him.

P.S. I would venture so far as to say that there are a lot of us Packard owners in that same boat.

(The jury is still out! No idea on the mystery hole as of yet. I've convinced myself however that it was factory hole given the expert way in which it was cut. I also look over all pics on the web I see involving 55-56's; but nothing I've seen as yet places something there on the dash between those two points.)

I agree 100% with Al about Mike D in Minnesoda. Hip, hip hooray for Mike D!!

G'day old hard road,
to PackardInfo, thanks for the post. And a request, could you please include your Patrician in the Packard Owner's Registry, together with a pic, any known history and how you acquired it?
