AutoLite makes a fine-performing plug for that engine with a correct black metal shell, AL 308. You can unscrew the top nipple and purchase the nickel-plated thumb screws which would make a correct authentic installation for you 33 Eight.

If you don't care about appearance, any standard reach 14mm plug with a heat range similar to AC46 ir Chamption J-11 will perform fine as well. Any good autoparts store should have an interchange catalog, but I strongly recommend the current AutoLlte products.

Dave, Were you excited about offering advice on spark plugs that you felt compelled to post your comments 3 times?

No sure O_D's 3 replies or clipper47's two are the issue as much as the website seems to be going bonkers. Maybe the provider is having issues again.

Website seems slow, took almost 15 minutes for itto post, during which I no doubt hit "submit" a few extra times. I'll delete the extras.

PS - site is down to a slow crawl. I'll come back later.

Website seems ok now. I never know when the Hosting provider is performing maintenance on the server cluster. I guess thats what I get from picking a hosting provider that operates from a boat in the English Channel!

I thought they only did that for "pirate" radio stations and gambling casinos
