Guys,

I finally attended my 1st car show! Yes, I took the 400 to Little Anthony's Restuarant in Tucson and she was quite the hit. People seemed to just love her and I fielded many questions throughout the evening about Packards and the restoration process. I also had people asking for my permission to take pictures of my car. That was weird, but wow! The show fielded about sixty to seventy cars of various categories and .......tada, I won best in show for this small little local bi-weekly event here in the desert on a very hot Saturday night.

Congratulations Kevin! She's a beauty, and I'm sure you were told that ALL night. I have enjoyed watching your project blog progress. I'm sure your father in law would be proud.

Another congrats. Makes the last 10 years of pain, aggravation and probably some questions along the way of sanity and being in the right mind worth it.

And another congrats. An outstandingly beautiful car with a super restoration. Very well done. You have introduced a lot of people to the elegance and technology of a really great marque. Thanks for sharing this super car with other people. Perhaps you've planted the seeds if not outright created another Packard enthusiast or two, or three, or ..... More of us should do the same.
