I have an original trunk complete from my 31 Light 8.
Does anyone have an idea what it is worth?
I don't need it and thinking about selling it.
Thanks for any info.

Richard

Richard, thanks for posting your part for others who might need it. But note that the Light Eight was a one year only offering, in 1932.

Potential buyers might also like to know if it's leatherette-covered or metal-covered, and if it still contains the original suitcases inside - these factors will influence the value. Also the maker would be a factor influencing value - most (but not all) Packard trunks were made by the Kam-Lee Company and had a blue interior liner with the letter "K" as a logo.

Thanks for the reply.
The trunk is all metal painted black with a wood floor, hinged at the top and open on the front about 4" up from the bottom. Has two curved chrome strips on front from the top to the latches. The only markings are on the latches, Steelwood Watts Morehouse Co. Jackson, Mich. Made by Yale.
