Well at least in general 'net search, 41 Packard info is quite rare. I'm a well schooled 33-34 specialist and know Packards fairly well in general. I just aquired a 41 160 Buisness Cpe, body style 1478. I'd like to find the differences and some details/pics/text that will help with this new personal project. This is a very hard to find car, 1st I've seen in over 20 years for sale. I'm sure that there's been others but I didn't see them.

I'm new here and looking forward to some great relationships. Thanks in advance for any directions you can point me to.

G'day Highlander160,

Welcome to the site. A guy in the Packard club here has a '41 160 Coupe which he's currently restoring. If you haven't already done so could you please add your Coupe to the Owner Registry together with a pic, and history if known?

What information are you seeking? Most information is available. One suggestion would be to get a reprint of the Data book, available very inexpensively. And from my perch, there have been exactly 2 unrestored 41-160 Coupes to come to market in the last 4 years that I am personally aware of. One came out of the Philadelphia area, and the other out of Ontario, Canada if memory serves.

Highlander160,

160 Coupe here is a 1475 Club Coupe and not a 1478 Business Coupe as I've just found out.

The Philly area car...Alquippa maybe? Estate sale? That would be the one I have. And 2 in 4 years, compared to most other models, pretty scarce. That woulda been an easy miss for me. Over the last 4 years I did parent care and a career adjustment. I'll be ordering the reprints this week.

Oz, I believe it. The 1475 is the most common 160 coupe and that makes sense. It's a pretty high end car for a buisness coupe.

Kev, the link is not working. Got and error message that says it's encrypted, and I appreciate you posting it.

Are you clicking on the link? or are your pasting the link into another browser windows?

You have to click on the link.

When you click on the link, it should bring you to another webpage, and on that page with be the actual link to the PDF.

If for some reason you still cannot find it, then search on here for "1941 Dealer Information"
