The Website was down for awhile as we ran out of disk space on the server.

I've cleaned up some files and currently, I am running a resize and compress on some of the larger photos that were uploaded. Over 7,000 photos have been added since I last did that. So it should reclaim a few GBs of space back.

The Website is up, but it may be slow as the above process is running in the background.

I've got an inquiry in with the hosting provider to move to the next service tier on disk space. I literally just renewed it for the next year. We are averaging about 18 months between web hosting tier upgrades due to growth.

You are welcome!

I managed to reclaim 3 gb of space. So we should be ok for a little bit until I can move to the next tier.

Why don't WE move to the next tier too!

I was going to do that by making a contribution to the Website via the Donate button on the right side of the page, but the link won't work for me.

Kev, is this glitch part of the server problem?

I might be able to donate some server space depending on how much is needed but would have to check my account to see if there are any restrictions although there should be quite a bit of space available. I have many sites of my own (I'm a Web programmer) but none use much space so PM me if you want to discuss but note that for some reason I never receive notifications to PMs so might not see it right away.

Also, this site is remarkable and if you wrote it's programming yourself and have access to it, I would be happy the share PHP functions that I wrote to automatically resize images (it will even convert from the non-Web image format BMP) so that they take up less server space. Some are so incredibly large that they sometimes cause all the text to get scrunched to a microscopic size so I use this code for consistency in image sizes on my own sites.

Again, feel free to PM me as I've stated over the years if I can help at all! I have little money to donate but plenty of programming skills.

Mal,

The Donate button appears to be working, it takes me to the PayPal donation page.

Mal and others, thanks for Donations!

I upgrade to the next Tier. So we have effectively doubled the storage space. So that should give us a few more holes in our belt for quite awhile.
