Ignition Coil for 1932 Std Eight

I suspect I may have ignition coil problems on my 1932 Standard Eight.

Does anyone have a suggestion for an appropriate coil?
Source/Vendor as well as part number or something I can zero in on?

Thanks --
-- Luke

Advanced Auto Parts has a 6 volt coil for ~ $20.00

E5 coil has a lifetime warranty. BWD is the manufacturer. Made in Mexico not China.

In addition to the above you can get a universal Echlin 6-volt coil #IC-7 from NAPA for about the same price, functionally it will perform just fine. You could temporarily wire one of these into your system and determine if indeed your current coil is failing. If so and you want a replacement for the original Northeast which matches the OEM for installation details, the only source I know of is KM Lifestyle. Not inexpensive.

EDIT - adding photo from KM website.

KM Lifestyles tested and rebuilt the coil for my 1931. Excellent to deal with and excellent work. Highly recommend them.
