A useful technique for such parts is to pin-punch them on an inside surface during disassembly to indicate their respective position and facilitate reassembly.

I found a black sharpie on the back side of items really helped me with figuring out what and where something went.

Interesting solutions, albeit a bit late as it appears Steve has already extracted the molars.

My husband, who I am logged in as, consulted me about your question. I am a trained forensic dentist, forensic anthropologist. I guess the first question is, did you take a bite mark identification before disassembling the grille? That would be of immeasurable assistance. You could reassemble the teeth, then take a polysiloxane impression, pour a model, and compare the bite marks. Elementary my dear Watson. Susan Cleereman, DDS

i noticed some of the grills for the 50-52 's have teeth and some dont .I ordered an NOS lower inner grill piece and when it came, there were no tooth mounting holes
i may have ordered the wrong part ,which models had teeth and which were edentulus?I thought perhaps that the teeth in my car may have been from a replacement grill ,(fake teeth?does my old car have dentures?)
