Hi to all, I am the proud owner of a new-to-me 1934 Packard 1100 Sedan. I've been car-obsessive my whole life but this is my first Packard so I have a lot of education ahead of me. This car is remarkably original and heavily documented back to its original purchase, something I have never experienced on past cars. I just added the car to your registry although it was already there under the previous owner. My intention right now is to preserve it as is but clean it up a bit and get it back on the road, I'll start posting more as I get into it. Here are a few photos from the day it arrived...

That is one great looking car.1934 is probably the pinacle for Packard during the classic car era.

Don, nice to see some further pictures of your car besides the ones you shared with me privately. I enjoyed speaking with you on the phone a few times about the oiling system, I hope that all worked out as we discussed, and I very strongly admire your intent to preserve the originality of this fine specimen.

1934 is only the pinnacle if you own one actual 32-34 are probably the desirable years. I love the dash in a 34. Good luck!

Thanks for the welcome. I've been looking at the downloads in the Literature and Manuals part of this forum, I'll be doing lots of printing! One thing I haven't seen anywhere is a shop manual for a 34, is there such a thing available? I'm just looking for a useable copy to keep in the garage and get greasy fingerprints on...
